Wasn't That Spooky

Okay, so I guess it's not that spooky.  But really, who are we trying to scare.  We just don't get any kids out here in the sticks.  Sure, maybe a few kids (baby goats), and a couple of calves, maybe some chickens, but no 'candy lovin' gremlins or goblins.
 BOO
Had to keep up with the blogs.....so here it is!
My Halloween Wreath hung on a Christmas wreath hanger.  Just doing a bit of time-saving, multitasking!

I was in my craft closet, ahem, I mean studio, searching endlessly for a wreath form, but all I could find were little willow and grapevine wreaths, toiled in cobwebs.  Turning my head, ever so slightly, from the corner of my eye, I spied it!.  A mysterious, old haunting oval beauty, purchased from a local thrift an old antique/junk store years previous.  You could see her age, with the wrinkles of time, scarring her blemished surface.   I pulled her out and dusted her off, choke, cough, spit.....  Thus born, was the Halloween Wreath............... MUUHAHAHAHAHAH.......... but you have to say it in an eerie scary voice.....so just go back and re read it, with of course, that eerie scary voice!

My oval wreath frame made from M.D.F.

Dollar Store Buys

Free paint from the last job I was on.  More on that coming soon.  I scored another piece of furniture too.  So excited!

See above photo...(the paint)....used to paint this beauty!

What is wrong with his eye??

After wrapping and gluing,
This is all I could come up with.

So back to the Dollar Store for a few more items

That's better.  This guy has the watchful eye!

  He's a poser.

Dare to enter????
Cheers.

  7. The decorations look great and it's too bad you don't get any kids because they would really like it! But at least you get to enjoy it and that's important too!
