  1. You are too funny, Karen! Your rock wall looks beautiful! I don't think your hands have aged. It's just wrinkled from being in too much water and moisture, lol! I have a pair of hands that really look wrinkle and old! I love hot, hot water and am reaping the results of lots of years in it. Um,"in hot water?" That sounds strange, doesn't it? Hope you have a wonderful new year loving and playing with your adorable grandbaby Turtle!!! Best wishes to you and all of your family!

  5. Baby Turtle is absolutely precious and "chill". Congrats.

Love your stacked rock walls. Looks like a wood stove is going in front?? It will be great whatever you do.

Have a grand upcoming year Karen.

  6. Love the rock wall! I thought about putting one in my family room in my basement, but that project has to wait until I get around to working on my bedroom first. I do love the new baby more, though! Thank you for the lovely holiday e-card. Made my day seeing Baby Turtle in his holiday hat ♥ Wishing you and the family a joyous New Year!

  8. OMGoodness, Baby Turtle is so precious....you have every right to be completely smitten! He was the cutest addition to your Christmas card....thank you!

The rock walls look gorgeous! Will you be putting a free-standing fireplace or wood stove there?

Rock and mortar suck the moisture out of your hands, but if you can get Aquaphor Healing Ointment, your hands just may forgive you! It was recommended to me to use during radiation treatments to help prevent burning and to soothe my skin. I did not get even a slight burn (and I'm very fair), but now I use it on my hands and feet all the time. Trust me, a tiny bit goes a long way if you want any hope of getting it rubbed into your hands....it will last after several hand-washings, too.

    Happy New Year, dear friend!
    Warm hugs,
    Carol

  9. Can I have that baby? We don't have any babies here. All we have are two old cats. Happy New Year, Karen!
