Puppy Stocking Stuffers free printable label

Does someone on your Christmas list want a puppy?  Here is an easier alternative.  It doesn't poop, requires no feedings or walks.   It's quick, easy, and you can decorate it anyway you like. 

 Best of all, I have included a free downloadable PDF. 

 Merry Christmas!!

Print pdf and cut into individual labels.
  Cut scrapbook paper a bit bigger than the label 

Get larger pieces of cardstock and fold in half.  This will go over your bag of goodies. Glue label to scrapbook paper and adhere both to your cardstock.  

Plastic bags are from Dollarama.  

Staple the two bottom corners to the plastic bag.

Pin me for future use!

I used peanut M&Ms but any candy will work.
It will help with the disappointment
 of no puppy on Christmas morning :(

It's a Dog's Life!

Dog lovers are pretty easy nuts to crack when it comes to Christmas.

Anything for their furbaby and they are over the moon.

  I was cruising the internet looking for inspiration

and saw this cute idea on Hometalk.

and so true too!

I created an assembly line and went to work.

I bought some 1x8 boards and cut them into

12' lengths. 

Painted each board with brown acrylic craft paint and let dry.

A Special Birthday Gift

Being a "special" birthday, I wanted something that

would be unique and memorable.

Hearts Everywhere

Todays post is all about love and hearts....

Out for our daily walk, Mr. FT and myself happened upon a red bush. 

All I could see was love!

The love of getting poked with wire, 

whipped in the face with branches,

traipsing back to the house to fetch the pruning shears, (half a mile)

and of course Mr FT's heart health, which requires

 trudging through knee high snow carrying a bundle of frozen sticks back to the house.

The branches sat on the heated floor and thawed for a few hours.

  They were slowly and gently bent to form half the heart and secured with wire. 

 A few branches were harmed in this process but all were used!

 I wired both halves together and finished them with red Christmas bows.

  I think it's a conspiracy and they just recycle

 Christmas ribbon with some heart packaging. 

 Ever notice how those Valentine chocolates always seem to taste slightly stale. 

  

The Ladybug Tree. 

 I secretly love the snow, and there  is nothing

 better than a walk on a warm winter's day!

The Ladybug Tree picture was one of those days.

Not the best way to bring in the New Year.

Speaking of New Years, did you make any resolutions?

I decided to continue with my yearly resolution of being organized.

 I feel last year was a success. 

 I didn't end up like miss Barbie above....bless, 

 and I built this:

 a Custom Cupboard Organizer. 

 It has inspired me to do more custom organizing in 2015. 

Believe it or not it still looks like this....

Except the Crock Pot isn't as shiny and I think one of my cookie sheets is M.I.A.

A Christmas Ornament Exchange and a Poem!

   Vicky from  "Life on Willie Mae Lane"  sent me these wonderful gifts!!

 She was also the one who coordinated this amazing exchange!  So much work.  Thanks Vicky.

Twas the night before gift exchange and all through the mail.

 Canada Post was still acting like  Silly Old Snail.

The packages  tied up with many a bows
And with all that excitement I stubbed my old toes.

With bells and buttons and ribbons and candy
I realized Vicky was more than just handy!

AWE!!

With wine glasses made into beautiful globes
They looked so fantastic  hanging in my abode.

With  beautiful Joy and a tree  full of glam
I looked for my scissors and saw a snowman

So cute.

A big jar of candy that brings such delight

and to all of my Bloggy Friends I wish you  goodnight!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas Tree

A packing peanut tree seems like a white Christmas to me.

Materials needed:

white paint and brush

dollar store light set (battery operated)

cardboard (cereal box style)

hot glue

styrofoam peanuts

 Create a cone from your cardboard.  Hot glue it into shape and give it a quick coat of white paint. 

 DON'T GET HOT GLUE ON FINGER AND THEN PUT YOUR FINGER IN YOUR MOUTH....JUST DON'T DO IT!!!

 The tricky part was trying to insert the lights into the peak of the tree.  With a lot of luck and pinched fingers from my small needle nose pliers, I was able to pull the lights through pre poked holes in the cone. 

 Then it was just a matter of gluing the styrofoam peanuts onto the cone. 

Thank goodness the lights worked......

Always check the lights

 to make sure they work before 

you put them in your tree!

To top the tree off, I used a silver star napkin ring.

The result was a tree, numerous hand injuries

and no hot beverages for a few days! 

FA LA LA LA LA   LA LA  LA LA!

And for a little Coco Chanel

I base coated a second form with pink paint, applied packing peanuts, sprayed tree with some spray adhesive and sprinkled glitter down the sides.  Some dollar store jewels cascade down and dragonfly embellishments adorn the top....ahh COCO!

  Mr. FT calls me Sparkle and keeps slipping dollar bills in my stocking???
