We're just gonna blow out this wall and put in a beam! Part Seven

With our new window here, we are back
in the light of it all.

This beauty spans two floors and will flood light into a new staricase!

With all this new found light, I might even have to get out of my work pajamas and shower.
I keep the lights dim so Mr. FT thinks he's working with a Victoria's Secret model.
(I rub a good coating of dust on his safety glasses too!)

You can thank me for this tidbit of knowledge later!

NO?

Here....I will lend you Mr. FT's safety glasses.

  1. that is one massive window for sure! Our staircase in the house is actually in a glass tower spanning two floors all in glass, it's horror to clean :) and hell in the summers.... I do need me that dark wood coffee table from the design photo, you can kindly send it over...

  2. I would die for one of these windows. It's going to be stunning. There is nothing like bringing more natural light inside. Mr T's is going to love watching the natural light reflect off his V.S model/wife's hair as she descends the stairway each morning. ;D

  3. Well, I guess I missed Part 6, but I am so glad Manny found a "forever home!" The window is amazing, Karen. I'm assuming you get more than your fill of gray, cloudy days! Lack of sunshine was the reason we moved from the Willamette Valley in Oregon to sunny Arizona. I thought you were one of the models in the VS catalog I recently saw....are you telling me I was wrong in shouting to everyone in the store that my good bloggy friend, Karen, from Canada was a VS model? You should expect numerous phone calls!

I'm still on my blog break, actually an "all social media" break, but I had to pop in to see what my Canadian friend was up to!

    Warm hugs,
    Carol

  4. That is one impressive window! I love lots of light, too. This will have been worth all the trouble of installation--whoohoo! :)
Karma doesn't care what I look like as long as I get her food, open her patio door, and clean her litter box--ROFL! ;)

Wow, what a gorgeous window! I say stay in those jammies, though. I'm sure you are quite sexy. And yes, I tell myself this everyday when I pass by a mirror in my jammies and messy ponytail! LOL!

  6. Woah! That is one massive window! I have to know who gets the job of cleaning it? I'm guessing Mr. FT. I mean, I'm sure he'd do anything to please his own personal VS model, right?

  20. I hope this finds you and yours doing well. May we display your header on our new site directory? As it is now, the site title (linked back to its home page) is listed, and we think displaying the header will attract more attention. In any event, we hope you will come by and see what is going on at SiteHoundSniffs.com.
